Psychiatrist

Cordillera Mental Health Services, a thriving and rapidly growing virtual mental health practice with a home base in Bozeman, MT, is seeking a psychiatrist to join our team. We specialize in providing comprehensive mental health care to individuals across Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and Washington, with a focus on a wide range of mental health needs. Our approach integrates biological and medication treatments, psychotherapy, tele-health tools, and integrative modalities to provide holistic care.
Our practice has a strong commitment to serving the mental health needs of our community, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated psychiatrist to join us.
Your Role:
As a psychiatrist at Cordillera Mental Health Services, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, offering a range of services to our diverse patient population. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting 60-minute intake sessions, with 45 minutes of face-to-face time and 15 minutes for documentation.
- Providing follow-up sessions for medication management (25-minute sessions) and, if desired, combined with psychotherapy (50-minute sessions)
- Maintaining clear and thorough documentation of patient encounters in our electronic medical record (EMR)
- Ensuring routine patient follow-up care, including responding to messages in our secure patient portal, refilling medications, and ordering necessary lab work.

Requirements
- Possession of a medical license in one of our target areas (WY, MT, ID, or WA).
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in psychiatry.
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Experience in psychiatry with a broad range of mental health issues.
- Familiarity with tele-health and EMR systems.
- A commitment to a long-term outpatient mental health clinic (2+ years), with a focus on building lasting relationships with patients.

- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
- Experience in psychiatric care and medication management.
- Familiarity with tele-health and EMR systems.
